Not enough comparable data
This selection needs a sufficiently large no-consulting baseline and at least one company covering the same score groups. No estimate is shown when that comparison is unavailable.
Broader ranges may also be withheld when they contain a small group. Your selection is never broadened automatically.

Cost & experience
What did clients buy, and would they hire again?
Optional answers about the whole engagement for applicants entering fall 2024. These charts use the cycle and type of help, independently of the school and score filters above.
Missing answers do not count as $0 or a negative experience. Each applicant contributes once per company and cycle. Companies appear alphabetically.
How this comparison works
Same score mix. Rates are directly standardized to the no-consulting applicants in this school, cycle, and score selection. Groups use exact LSAT scores crossed with GPA bands of 0.10 (for example, 3.80–3.89). Each company receives the same score-group weights. Differences within a GPA band can remain.
Comparable applications only. Each displayed company must have enough applicants in every baseline score group. Clients outside those groups are excluded from its displayed counts. Unknown company names, multiple-company applications, unanswered consulting fields, and missing or unconfirmed cycle scores are excluded. An unanswered field never counts as no consulting.
Outcome definition. The rate is acceptances among recorded acceptances and rejections in a completed cycle. Pending applications, unresolved waitlists, withdrawals, and deferrals are excluded. A final acceptance or rejection after a waitlist is included. Later consulting may also have influenced a result; this question records help before submission.
Uncertainty and privacy. Every contributing company/score group needs at least 30 applicants, including at least five acceptances and five rejections. An estimate with an approximate 95% interval wider than 30 percentage points is withheld. Small groups stay excluded from published totals across filters. Intervals use stratified binomial variance with fixed reference weights; they describe sampling uncertainty among respondents.
Client profiles and coverage. The overview and score distributions use exactly the same published groups as the selected school’s outcome chart. They exclude unmatched clients and unpublished companies; they are not population estimates of consulting use. Results across schools repeat each school’s own comparison, without combining them into a company-wide success rate.
Optional purchase details. Type of help, spending band, and hire-again answers describe the entire engagement, once per company and cycle. They use separate respondents from the outcome comparison and do not require a final admission decision. Every contributing type-of-help group needs at least 30 respondents to that question and five in each nonempty answer category. Broader selections containing a withheld group are also withheld. Private company names and unanswered purchase questions are excluded.
Association, not proof of effectiveness. Applicants choose whether to hire a consultant. These voluntary reports do not account for every difference in resources, background, application quality, or motivation. Adjustment for scores cannot establish that consulting caused an admission result.
