Gowling Lafleur Henderson (commonly known as Gowlings) traces its roots to the 19th century and operated as one of Canada's leading full-service law firms until its 2016 transatlantic combination with U.K. firm Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co to form Gowling WLG. Prior to the combination it comprised several hundred lawyers and was regularly ranked among the top Canadian firms by revenue and national league tables.
