…as you can would be my biggest recommendation. put T3 softs as I’d won a prestigious Man of the Year award at my undergraduate school, available for all students by nomination. Maybe a stretch but I felt it fit well enough there, combined with my other professional and volunteer history
Softs: 4 years of (very unique) full time human rights & justice-based work experience, established community organizer, 1st gen lawyer/raised by a single mom, bi woman. Applied ED to Northwestern, but bumped to RD before acceptance.
Applied to every school under the sun because I was hunting that sweet $$$$. Take advantage of fee waivers. No special softs, but strong public service resume, solid recommendations, and creative essay topic. Proud to have two T14 A’s in the cycle from hell.
