I hope to share myself as a data point for future low GPA and C&F applicants. I know how stressful this process is for those of us with rather polarizing transcripts, and I hope my results can put you at a bit of ease!

Full transparency, I hired a 7sage admissions consultants to help me with my essays. I feel that they are indispensable for applicants like me especially. Additionally, I utilized the 7sage LSAT study materials.

Tips for future applicants:
Submit as early as possible, as long as you are not compromising the quality of your materials.
Start your writing early. I’m talking a year in advance if possible. Give yourself the best chance to produce quality work.
Do every “optional” essay.
Make time to meet with admissions employees at the schools you’re interested in. Attend online and in-person events. Try to get in touch and express interest. For schools that care about yield (particularly, in my case, UC Hastings), it can be the difference between a WL and an A.
If possible, take time between graduation and law school to gather some work experience. This won’t just assist you in getting admitted to law school, but also in securing future employment.
