Thought I was going to WashU for most of the cycle. I sent what was basically a withdrawal email to GW after getting in off the WL, and they responded by matching my WashU offer.

I know WashU over GW for roughly equal cost is the choice 98% of applicants would make, but for someone with little interest in BL and much more interest in federal government jobs, I ultimately came down on GW.

But even though I’m not attending, WashU remains a beacon of hope to sub-3 splitters, and they have my eternal gratitude.

If you’re reading this and are still in undergrad, get off LSD and go to class.
