Curvysoggypizza '24–'25 app cycle Class of 2028 class year

I applied to a BROAD range of schools as you can see. Some schools are super reach and some schools are more so targets/safeties. I hope that my cycle can provide some insight for those who have my similar stats. As far as Fee Waivers, all of my FW were unsolicited except for Harvard, USCarolina, and OU which I received once I applied on their websites or directly emailed and asked. This fortunately made my process “cheaper” and allowed me to apply to so many schools. I also did every optional essay/ “Why X”. I was able to create one rough draft and cater to each school. (This portion was typed BEFORE I was accepted into 91% of my schools soooo hopefully I am able to keep a positive attitude lol)

Some things I noticed and appreciated in my cycle:

U of MN: App has gone into review three times so far. Last time was 1/7/24 (ACCEPTED 1/20/25)
IU Maurer : Received full tuition scholly after being under median
U of Cincy: Received a 80% scholly after not seeing this be the norm with my stats in 2023/2024
January 2025: You will be waiting a very long time even if you apply earlier. So don’t fret and also don’t let Reddit get your anxiety up.
Februrary 2025: By January I have heard from most of my target and safeties. Now it’s time for the reaches.
March 2025: I am happily surprised by the WL on the higher ranked schools. Not outright Rejections. At this point I am still waiting on Northwestern and OSU as far as reaches 3/3/25
March 2025: Strong softs and application materials do matter. Just waiting on NU and Case Western. 3/14/25
April: I committed to IU Maurer. Honestly, the full tuition scholarship helped my decision immensely and I am so grateful for the opportunity to attend law school with finances not being a major barrier. I hope my cycle gives hope to those who have lower stats, but strong app materials. YOU MATTER.
