My advice: Retake the LSAT if you have anywhere below a 175. Do not stop just because you don’t want to take the test another time. Law school is way harder than the LSAT so you shouldn’t be lazy. You will regret it later, trust me (I took the test 4 times before I submitted my apps and I would’ve taken it a 5th time if I didn’t max out my attempts for the testing year).

My thoughts on the process: Going into the cycle I thought I was pretty competitive for everywhere on my list (except maybe the very top). I was wrong. I was told by a lot of people that law school admissions was heavily stats based but I feel like this is starting to become untrue. In recent years, there seems to be an abundance of high stat applicants so it seems like every other part of the application is becoming more and more important. In my opinion, stats get your foot in the door but your essays (and work experience to a much lesser extent) are what actually determine if you are going to be admitted. Overall, I should have spent way more time writing my Personal Statement and I should have opted to do every optional Essay that was possible. I also should have applied more broadly.
