Fhloston-Paradise's wisdom

Work hard, get into the best school you can, but don’t beat yourself up. If you can, listen to Malcom Gladwell’s episode of Revisionist History about law school and the LSAT titled “The Tortoise and the Hare” to give you perspective.

The practice timed runs for exams are helpful for timing pressure, but they are NOWHERE near the nerves you will actually experience during the LSAT you pay for and have proctored the day of the exam. My heart rate was elevated and my palms were shaking and sweaty until the last section ended. I also have an anxious disposition, so take that with a grain of salt.

I signed up for 7Sage and paid the $69/mo (August & September, 2023) for access to exams and explanations, which I would consider the best decision for my personal growth in terms of progress towards a better score. I also read the Princeton Review, which was good, but the LSAT Trainer was easier to follow in my opinion.

You will be your biggest critic and your biggest mental hurdle. Have patience, grace, and listen to your body. Sometimes a day off from studying for the LSAT is absolutely necessary. Good luck!
