About & Wisdom
Wisdom
I am making my profile public to give people a look at what a low GPA application cycle might look like. I could have played out the WL game, but I retook and got a higher score. So now I’m R&Ring! Come hang out on my profile to see how 2025-2026 treats me: https://lsd.law/creep/ActionCat
~3 years full-time work experience and a clinical master’s degree with a 3.8 GPA.
University - leadership experience, greek life affiliation, worked 20-30 hours a week throughout. All low grades are in math/science (originally was a pre-med major).
Personal Statement- focuses on a situation that was the catalyst for me pursuing social work, discussion of how I thought social work would help me meet my goals and an explanation of why law is actually the better path.
Diversity Statement - focuses on family/economic background and my sexuality. Discusses extreme adversity, life struggles, and the perspective I gained from it.
LoRs - from my supervisor at work and my TA professor from grad school. Unfortunately no academic LORs.
