Grandma's wisdom for future generations

Deciding to look at this after a semester of law school I wanted to reflect back a bit.
First some softs and bio, I’m a 30 year old trans woman who had multiple careers before going to law school, I was a chef, then baker, then sales woman for an automotive manufacturer.
Some hard stats, My technical GPA is 3.17 because at 18 I dropped out with 5 F’s on my transcript, however nigh every school waived that and I believe the 3.51 is a more accurate representation of what schools saw in me. As far as my lsat, it was achieved with a relatively little studying due to life events.

What I wish I knew in the application process, I didn’t expect to waiver and strain so much of my personal relationships. I ended an engagement, moved a state and a half a way, and lost most of my friends back home.
What rejuvenates me is the people I have met, and fallen in love with out here. My community is full of wonderful and supportive people that have helped me grow.

Please, be kind to yourself in this process. You will find somewhere that you want to call home, it just takes a little bit of time.
