Apply early. The January test date is borderline too late if you want an admit. I was already rejected to many of my schools by the time I posted a 175 in April. I emailed LOCIs with the updated score to the higher ranked schools where I was waitlisted, but am going to reapply in the fall unless I get a solid WL acceptance with $.

Be above at least one 50th percentile/median (GPA or LSAT) to the schools you are applying. If you are below both medians, you will be a long shot at best, particularly if you apply ‘late’ in cycle.

Your STEM or STEM-adjacent UGPA will not save you compared to the recent KJDs who have 3.98 UGPAs, if the LSAT isn’t there.
