- Khan Academy and LSAT Demon both have decent free programs. My advice, get LawHub's additional tests and just do many many tests, untimed. Then time yourself as you get closer. That format they use is EXACTLY what you see test day which is way better.
HighFunction's wisdom
- Forget all the fancy LSAT prep. I made more score improvement using Law Hub’s additional practice tests and just taking test after test. Couple this with Khan Academy’s free LSAT prep worked wonders.
- Be careful reading Reddit. You have a whole lot of people pitching and moaning about not getting into an Ivy League school because of their “low 170’s” LSAT score. The reality is that many people have very successful careers after going to any of the other ABA accredited schools in the nation.
- Most of the numbers Law Schools provide are manipulated. Bar pass rates, average incomes, etc are all things that can be manipulated. Accreditation means that the schools have to meet the same base standards of education. Focus more on the economic impact of your future from debt, income for the type of law you want to practice, etc.
- This advice is not coming from someone fresh out of college. I am 38, in a corporate executive role and am being put through school by my employer to become our in house counsel. I know a thing or two about life and have learned alot from the attorneys I have worked with over the years and way to much emphasis is placed on the law school name versus getting the degree, passing the bar, and getting to work.
- The Judge doesn’t ask you where you went to school before you present your case.
