4+ years of work experience in progressive advocacy, 2+ of which have been at a legal org that has worked on multiple Supreme Court cases

Letters of Rec: 2 from professors (one of whom was my thesis advisor) and one from my direct supervisor. ASK EARLY. I gave my professors a heads up in April, sent the official request in July, and finally got my last letter in mid Oct. This is the only reason my apps were not submitted earlier.

Essays:
Personal Statement on my work experience and why I want to be a lawyer
Diversity Statement on growing up in a lower socioeconomic class w one parent who didn’t go to college and one parent who went to college in another country.
Some supplemental essays on times I’ve been involved in union organizing in college and at work

LSAT:
I didn’t take any prep courses, and I wouldn’t waste your time or money with them, from what I’ve heard. I worked through Mike Kim’s “The LSAT Trainer” twice and took almost all of the LSAT library’s prep tests.
