do not use this website or reddit or really any online law school admissions resource regularly. it is extremely bad for your mental health. this place is a useful source of information, and it can feel good to vent anonymously to a group of people that you know for a fact are going through more or less the same thing that you are, but staring at it won’t make your decisions come any faster. the fact of the matter is that this process is really, really long. it takes an incredible amount of time to hear back, and chances are (if you’re pushing yourself to go to the best school you believe you can go to) you’ll get more bad news than good. if you allow it to, it will take over your mental state. i’m a fairly grounded person mentally, or at least i like to think i am, and i fully fell into the sinkhole that is this process for about two months of my life. it feels extremely goofy looking back, and it could’ve been avoided. that’s the only advice that really matters; if you’re confident that you know what you’re doing, you have no interest in hearing how to go about it from me. good luck!
