Kate404343's wisdom

If you are a BIPOC, low-income, first-gen college grad, send in that application even if you aren’t at the medians!!! Stay true to yourself in your application and apply early, so long as you do that the sky truly is the limit!

Below are a few LSAT and application tips I found to be helpful:

Tips for apps
Ask for those app fee waivers!!!! Often they will just send you one if you ask, others have you fill out a quick app but this will save you so much money in the long run- Have a few people review your essays!! And do not wait until the last minute to start them!! Give yourself enough time to really craft a quality essay that fully encapsulates your narrative

Tips for the LSAT
Be disciplined about the LSAT, whatever your dream score is. I started at a 139 so for me a 159 was a heaven-sent miracle and something I am very proud of. However, it did require consistency with studying on my part - In the same vein… don’t be discouraged if you find the LSAT is taking you a long time. It took me 3-4 years total to raise my score as much as I did!
