LawSchoolBound2025 '24–'25 app cycle Class of 2028 class year

Applied late in Feb to most schools with my Jan LSAT score of a 153. After getting rejected by 4 schools within 2 weeks, I kept the rest of my apps on hold until the April LSAT score was released (4/30/25).

My advice is take the LSAT as early as possible and apply as early as possible. Also before you submit an application, print it out and re-read though it. Try to keep your personal statement between 500-750 words. Don’t settle for any school ranked under 130 unless you are on a full ride (I wouldn’t go anywhere past 140).

Do your research. Check 509 employment outcomes at whatever school you are applying to. Check the guidebook of the school and see where the “curve” is for the GPA.
Check to see how many people graduate and get a job in a 501+ sized law firm. Check to see how many people get federal clerkships.
