Hello, I created this profile so people can learn a little about mt application non traditional process. My focus is on civil rights and public interest law.

I currently attend the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where I have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.37. My LSAC GPA is 2.7 due to older transcripts from coursework completed more than 16 years ago.

A few things about my background:

• I have worked on cases at one of the top Fortune 100 companies in the world for the past 9 years.
• I previously worked as a legal secretary on a wrongful conviction case involving a person who was later exonerated in a case that received worldwide media coverage.
• I earned a Legal Secretary Certificate through the Center for Legal Studies program formerly offered through Minnesota State University, Mankato.
• I am the granddaughter of a famous playwright, civil rights activist, and former University of Southern California professor. Despite that family legacy, I also grew up facing significant obstacles and poverty on another side of my family, which shaped my perspective and commitment to public interest work.
• I have character and fitness issues related to two juvenile felony delinquency cases from when I was under the age of 16. Those experiences, along with the challenges I faced growing up, have contributed to my personal growth, resilience, and commitment to pursuing a meaningful career in law and public service.
• I founded an organization dedicated to helping people in need.
• I also serve as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota.
• I am applying to law school for Fall 2027
