I want to start out by saying that when I started this process, I couldn’t have imagined I would have a shot at the majority of the schools I applied to, much less have to choose between them. Studying hard for the LSAT paid off in spades, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunities and choices I ended up with.

As is evident by the list below, decisions can in some ways feel so arbitrary and certainly cannot be predicted on ranking alone; “fit” is so important and goes both ways. Finding a school that checks all (or at least most) of your boxes and prioritizes your needs is the best outcome you can hope for!

I am a bit shocked and so grateful to have not received any rejections. I chose not to ride any of the waitlists I was offered a spot on because I was extremely happy with my Alabama Law acceptance, and after visiting and attending Admitted Students Weekend, I knew it would be a great fit for me. Doing research on the schools I was accepted and waitlisted at by reading up on schools websites, finding news articles, comparing schools based on my priorities on LST and MyRank, and talking to and reading threads of current students AMA’s on Reddit, I was able to pretty confidently make choices about what schools would or would not be a good fit for me! Visiting schools in person and communicating with admissions staff also helped tremendously.
