MurgoodTharshall '24–'25 app cycle Class of 2028 class year

I am creating this profile so people can come journey with me and my specific situation. I have been out of undergrad for a little over 4 years and currently hold a Director Position for a non-profit. I was about a 3.0 Student in Undergrad and did the exact same in my Masters program (MPA for those who have read this far).

As of writing this I have yet to take the LSAT but I am studying and do have a schedule that I (kinda) adhere too. I am scheduling myself out so that I can have everything done by September. I hope this profile helps people like me who are going to law school a little later than some of their peers. Wish me luck.

EDIT (02.25.25) I have received an acceptance from NCCU. I have participated in a phone interview with Elon University. I have no answer from Elon or Campbell yet. I currently have rejections from Nebraska, and Wake Forest. My goal is to go to the best law school for ME.

Edit (03.17.25) I received an acceptance from Elon University. They gave me $30,000 non-conditional scholarship that is spread out over the 7 trimesters. Essentially lowering my cost to roughly 100K over the 2.5 years. I am still waiting to receive an acceptance from Campbell and see what scholarship is given. Hopefully, I can negotiate and see if that drives up scholly amount.
