Wisdom for future generations

I signed up for an optional interview with Baylor at one of the LSAC Forums.

I submitted a GPA Addendum /only/ to TAMU because otherwise my GPA is relatively average/above-average and TAMU is clearly a GPA focused school.

Attending the Forum in my area was a great idea bc I received several fee waivers for schools I met with. I got remaining fee waivers through schools fee waiver application or e-mailing the admissions team.

My LOR’s were from i) my major’s department chairman; and ii) the supervisor I had when I was an RA on-campus. I worked directly with both for 2-4 years.

My paralegal certificate was through CLS.

My personal statement was about how I found my way into law, why I left the world of theatre, and how I’ve always had a passion for making others feel not only good, but taken care of.

I am financially independent and doing “okay”. I shelled out some money for a good LSAT prep course that I am paying off via Klarna. For me, it was worth the investment.
That $45 CAS fee meant more to me than the possibility of attending a school I couldn’t see myself at for three years, so I narrowed my list of 20 down to 10.

Good luck all! (◕u◕)
