My GRE score had me in the second percentile, literally. Just dumb as a box of rocks when it comes to testing. But I did it. I got in and it’s in the 90-110 ranking too!

Fall 2022 - Last Minute as of 07/31/2022 in most cases
I had applied to about 10 schools for Fall 2022 literally at their deadlines. I was rejected by all, one said I was a strong candidate but they didn’t have any more seats. I was preparing to apply for Fall 2023 but I saw schools will with open deadlines for this year so I figured why delay it. I had no idea it wouldn’t be wise, I figured their apps were still open and maybe they’d have open seats because someone canceled.
So I’m filling out applications for Spring starts at a few schools and then the rest Fall 2023.

I applied at 7 schools for Spring admission, the rejections listed now are those.

Fall 2023 - in progress
I took the GRE only, don’t want to take the LSAT unless I have to.
As mentioned above I wasted several hundred dollars applying to schools a month ago for their Fall 2022 deadlines. I spoke to some schools and they are adamant about their medians so I won’t reapply there.
Currently reapplied to two schools for Fall 2023 or Spring 2023.
Have a handful of applications in for Spring 2023 and the other half Fall 2023.

Rejected 9/7 - Akron - University of Akron is ranked No. 147-192 in Best Law Schools Rejected me (they are allowing me to get my GRE score up so I logged it as a rejection but I haven’t been officially rejected yet), BUT told me exactly why and said if I get my GRE up then they’d reconsider me, and to let them know if I would do that. Update: After being accepted at Washburn I emailed Akron because they were waiting on updated scores and told them I was withdrawing or accepting their rejection never really was clear on where I stood with them. Once I received my first acceptance, I withdrew from Akron because they were waiting on me.

Accepted on 9/20 at X  No. 105 (tie) - Dean called me today 9/20, was totally not expecting that call and congratulated me on being accepted. Currently ranked 105 this is a higher ranking than I expected to be admitted to, especially because Akron is ranked much lower and rejected me. This was a great way to finish my day, I had been dealing with the Tiffany Haddish child abuse scandal. Yeah I was working with some victims of Aries Spears and Tiffany Haddish, this will be the wildest LSD diary entry ever I’m sure.

LSD said I had a 49% chance of getting into X. 7Sage said I had a 53% chance. The law school itself says 57% acceptance rate. I love beating the odds. If you’re a non-traditional student your LIFE EXPERIENCE is your GREATEST ASSET. I’m going to a T3 and couldn’t be happier, the stars aligned and this university is the perfect fit for me.

Rejected 9/22 by Toledo - Toledo never sent an application tracker, but notified me by email of the rejection. University of Toledo is ranked No. 147-192 in Best Law Schools

Got into two more schools. Now I’m just waiting for the rest of my applications to play out.
