Apply broadly, play to your strengths, start the process early - as in at least a year before you plan to go to law school start studying, building/reinforcing relationships to ask for letters or recommendation, ask for letters of recommendation as soon as you are able to, research. Attend all the webinars you are able to, they are full of excellent resources and information.
