Take my app year’s results with a grain of salt. I mean it was 2020, with inflation in application numbers and LSAT scores. Be that as it may, here are a few things I did that could be very helpful for you in the future.

1. Applying early- this I think was key into why I had at least a little more acceptances or waitlists despite the times. Apply earlier when there are more seats available.

2. Optional essays- for your safety schools it might not be necessary. But even with your target (and especially with reaches), take the time to do the research and write your Why X’s, Top 10 lists (looking at your GULC). Optional essays will also be helpful with schollys.

3. Be flexible with region/location- Law School is 3 years of your life, okay probably more when you factor in a couple years practicing in the vicinity of your school (unless you go to a T14 but even then). But still, if you are debt averse or are set about a specific school’s strength, go for that opportunity.

4. Know that where you start =/= where you end up- I still have a hard time with this. But it really does help! I mean come on, look at Biden and Harris O_O

5. SHOOT YOUR EFFIN SHOT- didn’t work out for me, obviously, but again… 2020? whatever no biggie. I wasn’t as fortunate but you might be! But tbh not YLS even though they and you might try to entice you. Seriously lol.
