Prior to law school, after graduating undergrad, WORK AT A LAW FIRM. Get experience feeling the pressure and having the work you do highly scrutinized. I worked for a year at a small but fast-paced law firm where I had a hand in everything. Extremely stressful but it motivated me to want to learn more because A. it was amazing to see how much I did not know and B. it made me hungry for more.
