SSea '22–'23 app cycle Class of 2026 class year

Applications are expensive, but law schools are expensiver!
Background:
USC student getting a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and an MA in Public Relations and Advertising by May ‘23. No GRE for the MA - it was part of a dual program offered by the university. Got the MA because I was hesitant about going into law and Philosophy on its own is… questionable for a career degree.
Tests:
Took the LSAT once in August; spent about a month heavily studying (3+ practice tests a week) and a month prior to that lightly studying (<1 test a week). Always been a good test taker though.
Applications:
Goal was to finish apps by the beginning of November. Didn’t get them done until the end of November and early December. Messed up and didn’t submit my application to Michigan until late, despite finishing it in late November.
Wrote my personal statement on marching band; I feel like I could’ve done more to explain in the personal statement why that experience would carry over. Didn’t give much of a why law.
Wrote pre-decision LOCI to UVA. Wrote a WL one for UM and SLS.
