Wrote why Xs/supplements for all schools except for HLS and Chicago; wrote a 4-page PS for Berkeley and submitted it to Chicago as well.

I recommend keeping an open mind. I haven’t thought a second about going to CLS before I got in. Thoughts and feelings come and go all the time – embrace them and know that everybody is kind of the same.

Can’t stress enough the importance of being kind to yourself. Prioritizing self-help and self-care is so underrated on law school application forums. It will all be okay.

For my fellow international applicants:
be prepared to talk about why law, (why now if you’re also KJD) and why US. chances are that you will- be asked about these during interviews. better if you incorporate them into your PS.

• think carefully and strategize your school list. know that schools like Chicago, Michigan, and UVA are not the most friendly to international students. financial aid policies at different schools might also be different – if COA is a concern, research different scholarship programs before you apply.
