SplitterWashUED '23–'24 app cycle Class of 2027 class year
About & Wisdom
SplitterWashUED's wisdom
Ivy undergrad, didn’t pull up my GPA until it was too late. 2 years of corporate law firm experience. WashU was the perfect opportunity/second chance for me and, given my high undergrad debt, I needed serious $$$ to afford law school. I sometimes regret not applying to the T-14, but it was extremely unlikely I would get accepted to one with enough money to pass on WashU. I decided to ED because ED applicants are guaranteed the “max scholarship for their stats”. I could probably have applied RD and recieved the same scholly though, and would apply to a range of schools if I could do it all over again. That being said, WashU is cleary invested in becoming one of the select few top law US law schools. I get to an attend a premier institution relatively cheaply; one that is consistently improving its reputation and outcomes - with my pretty terrible GPA! So thankful and excited to attend.
