I spent some time working as an engineer. I never considered a law degree in my undergrad, I was just trying to make it through. I decided in March that I wanted to pursue law and took the LSAT in June 2024, using the free LawHub and KhanAcademy tests.

Hopefully this cycle will prove fruitful, and it can give someone else some hope :). I am trying to be realistic with my chances and evaluating the opportunity costs of schools based on my current job & future prospects.

Things that I have discovered:
You can literally just email the admissions office and just ask for a fee waiver, even if the school’s website doesn’t specifically say you can, and you’re below one of the medians. Mind-boggling stuff.
Apparently you need a different formatted resume for law school, that’s why there was a bit of a gap between my initial applications and subsequent ones
I used the ASU CAS fee waiver due date to keep myself accountable because otherwise I would’ve procrastinated
