Protect your mental health throughout the cycle. This can be such a grueling, comparative process, but please take care of yourself. Do not depend on schools for your self-worth. A lot of times I tried to make sense and rationalize this process but I think sometimes that does more harm than good. My cycle is weird and had its ups and downs but ultimately about 5 months after applying everything worked itself out. I know it’s so hard to trust the process when it feels brutal, but believe in yourself and things turning out how they’re meant to.
