Submitted a Why X for Duke, Michigan, Northwestern, Cornell, GMU, and UVA. It’s required for GMU and Cornell, but not sending a Why X to the other schools from what I read would torpedo the application.

I’m pretty shocked that I got into Michigan so quickly, and I got waitlisted at other schools. I put the most effort into my applications for Michigan, GMU, and UVA, so I’m not necessarily surprised at these outcomes. My stats were too low for UVA, and I wouldn’t go without merit scholarships anyway.
