I feel incredibly grateful for how my cycle turned out.

Last year, I was admitted to only one school. I applied late (after February), with a lower LSAT and essays that I cringe just thinking about now.

This year was completely different. I applied to nearly every school in October and November with a significantly higher LSAT and much stronger essays. I also built a far more intentional school list, adding more “safeties” (though, as a splitter, I know there’s never truly such a thing) and prioritizing schools where I was above the 75th percentile LSAT.

Most importantly, my materials were stronger across the board. I made sure my letters of recommendation clearly reflected my “why” and helped tell a cohesive story. I was intentional about how each essay worked together to create a full picture of who I am and what I bring.

My biggest advice: be thoughtful about your school list, apply early, and tell your story clearly and authentically. It matters more than people like to admit.
