The dream: National Security Law
About & Wisdom
WhiteSilkyGriffin's wisdom
Thoughts On My Application:
I think what helped me get accepted into law school was the fact that each aspect of my application served as separate puzzle pieces that, when built out, told a cohesive story about who I was and why law was the right next step for me. My personal statement explained my specific legal interests that lead me to law school, my supplementals emphasized the identity that shaped my interests, and the LORs and resume corroborated my written materials. I truly believe that my written materials were the defining factor that got me accepted, and, in my opinion, getting these materials perfected should be as much of a priority as getting great grades/test scores.
Some Encouragement:
You worked so hard to even get to the position of applying to law school, and you are in a special group of ambitious people who will have the power to change the world. This is a grueling process, and it is easy to forget to take care of yourself. Take time to appreciate how far you have come and how far you will go. Best of luck to you if you are still reading this, and always dream big!!!
