Start your apps early to give yourself time for mishaps and a better shot at getting acceptances/scholarships. For most people, you’re going to underestimate the time it takes to put everything together.- Write your essay about what you are passionate about. Seriously- anything goes. It could be a sport, place, food, or what have you, just write well. I never mentioned law or career interests once in my essay.

• Visit visit, visit!!!!!! I cannot express how much law school visits changed where I wanted to go. On paper a school might check all your boxes but reality can be quite different. Go where you think you will be happiest!
• Take the money. Sticker in most places is 300k+ with CoL. It will take many years of your career to wipe out that debt.
