Don’t let people scare you away from taking the GRE if you have a very strong application (high GPA, great softs, solid narrative) and you feel like you can score better on the GRE than the LSAT (or if you already have a good GRE score on file).

Just be prepared for two things: 1) outcomes are even less predictable for GRE than LSAT applicants and 2) you may not receive as much scholarship money as you would have with a high LSAT score.

If you feel like the GRE is a better fit for you and you’re willing to accept some uncertainty, go for it! I’m glad I did.
