7SAGE!!! And drill questions early! Go through the curriculum and drill questions as you learn a new question type. KEEP A WRONG ANSWER JOURNAL as soon as you reach the point in your studies where you can identify exactly where you went wrong with a question; maybe around a week or two into your studying.
Do not slack on preptests; take one just as you begin studying (no later than a week in) and one per week thereafter. Listen to the analytics that 7sage gives you after a preptest, as these analytics tell you exactly what to prioritize for the maximum gains in points. The more preptests and drills you do, the more wealth of analytics you have to go off of to better your score.
Whatever time you think is sufficient for daily studying, add another thirty minutes, at least. The LSAT is harder than you think; you’re not going to have an easier time because your GPA is high or you’ve shown good reasoning skills prior, thinking that anyone who struggles with it is below you or starting off from a worse place than you. Even HYS - Harvard, Yale, Stanford - applicants struggled with the LSAT. Be humble; the honesty that comes with it is what will allow you to truly grow. All the same, don’t let that humility cloud your confidence. The LSAT is, 1. only one test that does NOT determine the rest of your life, 2. formulaic and solvable. It is a skill-based test; skills are agnostically attainable by anyone. Don’t be so proud to think that you’ll get a 170 diagnostic on day one or that you’re above taking the steps that high-scorers have taken, and all the same, believe that if you apply these very steps, you will attain the score you want.
