Hi everyone. So I applied to UCLA, Harvard, Stanford, NYU and Penn but withdrew due to my ED contract with Columbia. I also received a very weird email from Georgetown at the end of November essentially saying nothing other than that they would give me a decision after February. I withdrew from Georgetown as well. You might be wondering why I applied ED with my stats, but the combination of my insecurity about my GPA and my extremely risk-avoidant personality made it nearly a no-brainer. I am thankful that my cycle is over when it was, but I will never know what could have been. Realistically, though, I would probably be sitting on the Harvard waitlist (if I’m lucky) until August, and it just wasn’t worth putting my life on hold.
