I am starting this profile to show everyone what the admissions cycle is like for someone with poor grades in their undergraduate studies. I will update regularly with test information, schools I am applying to, and how I fare in the admissions process. I am hopeful, but pragmatic. Good luck to everyone.

End of Cycle: Attending Ole Miss with partial scholarship. Admitted from the waitlist after approx. 5 months. Excited to get moving and settle into a new town. I think this is about as good as I could have done considering the wants/needs I had during the process. Staying in the mid-south, very affordable tuition, and being close to friends and family. I know Mississippi like the back of my hand, so there shouldn’t be too many moving pains.

Accepted: Memphis**, Tulsa ($.5),** Ole Miss ($.5)

Goals:
Stay in Mid-South/Move to Midwest- Keep loans to a minimum

• Be in a medium to large size city

Softs:
Very active in undergrad (officer of clubs, greek life, Mock Trial, significant awards)- Lots of law firm experience (receptionist, file clerk, runner, legal assistant)

• 4 years of significant job experience (management, large projects, administrator)
• Several LOR (academic advisor, managing partner, work supervisors)

LSAT:
157 in June 2022- 159 in September 2022

12/14 - Still awaiting status checker emails from Memphis and Oklahoma. Had a great conversation with admissions at Tulsa. Nothing aside from recruitment emails and mailers from Miss and SLU, so far.

12/15 Invitation to interview at Oklahoma. Waitlisted at Mississippi.

12/19 Interviewed w/ Oklahoma. Good vibes! Hoping to hear back by early January.

Early Jan Rcv’d CAS waiver from Nebraska-Lincoln. Applied soon thereafter.

1/23 A at Memphis Law! Rcv’d via email around 3:30 PM. $$ email to follow as they make decisions.

1/27 R at OU Law. Rcv’d via email around 10:00 AM.

2/7 UR at SLU. Two months after submitting! Eager to hear back.

2/8 “Decision made, letter to follow” from SLU. Waiting for an email.

2/10 Sent several solicitation emails for CAS waivers. Will work on filing more apps next week.

2/16 Letter rcv’d from SLU. R. Sad day, bad day.

4/4 LOCI sent to Mississippi.

4/15 Attended Admitted Students Day at Memphis**.**

4/17 Paid deposit at Memphis.

4/19 Invited to participate in WL-only event at Mississippi. Let’s see if that LOCI did anything!

4/25 Under review again at Tulsa. Let’s see…

4/26 Priority WL check-in at Mississippi. Should hear a decision this week (4/27?).

4/26 It’s all happening! IN at TULSA with a nice scholarship! Call from admissions to share the news.

4/27 Withdrew from UMKC WL.

5/2 IN OFF THE WL** at OLE MISS!! **With $+ as an in-state student. Nearing an enrollment decision soon.

5/5 UR at Nebraska. This is a longshot.

5/9 Paid 1st deposit at Mississippi.

5/15 Withdrew from Tulsa.

5/25 Withdrew from Memphis. Both withdrawals very sad.

5/30 Paid 2nd deposit at Mississippi.

6/2 Rejected at Nebraska.

6/9 Withdrew from Duquesne WL. CYCLE OVER!
