WHY DIDN’T YOU APPLY TO MORE T14 SCHOOLS?
-I’m not Biglaw/Federal Clerkship or bust, so I don’t need them
-Not eager to take out 250k in loans for extra clout
-Didn’t like the vibe of the school, didn’t want to live in the area, or didn’t care enough about it to pay the application fees

WHY DID YOU APPLY TO THE SCHOOLS YOU DID?
-They are all sufficient for my career goals
-UofA because I was already thinking about moving to Tucson to live with friends
-UofM and Penn because they were near other friends
-GULC because I’d lived in DC before and wanted to move back
-Vandy and WashU because they’re solid schools in relatively inexpensive areas
-Yale because I got a 178 so might as well take a shot at it.

How I got a good LSAT score: Natural affinity for standardized tests, lots of practice problems (doing them regularly is better than cramming), and getting lucky on test day.
