Could have pushed harder on my WLs, but was super excited about Wake so decided to go for it. Withdrew my UNC application after WLed because they announced at an Open House that the top 10 1Ls would get a full ride and no one else. That felt like it would create a horrible environment so really turned me off. Did not apply for Campbell full rides - they require separate application after admission. Never got rejected from UVA before I withdrew my app, but I wasn’t interviewed so I was getting rejected. Realized very quickly that I didn’t want to be in Texas (what was I thinking?) or Boston so didn’t try at ALL on those WLs.

Only submitted LOCIs to Wake and W&M. Immediately interviewed after WLed at W&M and admitted within 24 hours. Negotiated with W&M and got an extra 1k per year, which still didn’t match Wake. Go Deacs!

I took the LSAT once. I had interesting, unique work experience and worked full-time during undergrad, which AOs commented on at multiple schools. I am not gunning BigLaw and am aiming for a fellowship to work in small town North Carolina.
