General advice
Run your own race. Compete to become your best self instead of competing against others. Sometimes I got caught up in the Reddit outrage over various advantages I didn’t have. At some point, I realized that was a waste of time. Throughout the application process, I tried (sometimes unsuccessfully tbh) to focus on myself and the advantages I did have.
Hot take
I never used a consultant, so this is just a hot take. IMO a consultant is a waste of money unless you’re rich, short on time, or you have unusual circumstances (think serious C&F issues, application focused on controversial topic like Israel/Palestine, etc.).
Many admissions officers have podcasts and blogs. If you have enough time to do online research, you can find advice from multiple admissions officers on many topics. For essay feedback and editing, you can often get free help. I had my personal statement and resume reviewed by my college pre-law advisor, a mentor who had gone to law school, and a friend.

Interviews
I thought most of my interviews went poorly, but I was admitted to 4/5 of schools I interviewed at. I still cringe thinking about some of my interview answers, so know that there is hope if you feel like an interview didn’t go well.
Although I rambled, was anxious, and at times kinda weird, I was well prepared for interviews. My favorite resources are:
