I’ll try to update my thoughts on all school decisions as they come…

NYLS: Originally waitlisted but the school emailed back the next day saying it was a mistake. Felt like a lowball scholarship considering my other offers.

UMiami: Had to wait until February for scholarship. Heard they don’t negotiate but try to give best offer first. Was surprised by how much it was but I wrote a strong essay for why I was interested in the program.

Penn state law: A w/scholarship noticed they are very generous with $

Hofstra: Gave a full scholarship but upon further research many are conditional with a steep 50% of students getting a reduction. Seems slightly predatory.

BLS: Felt a little lowballed by their offer of 30k. You can also submit a request to consider need-based aid so I plan to do that. Conditional scholarship but not that bad just need to be in top 80%
