Applied early in the cycle, wanted to give myself the best chances for admission/scholarships knowing that I have a mediocre LSAT score.
I attended a small liberal arts university for undergrad, where I majored in Business Administration, and double-minored in pre-law and German. I was a four-year NCAA student-athlete, captain of my team, and president of a large student organization on campus.
I used Blueprint Test Prep for my LSAT, and my PTs were all 163+, so on test day I was below where I wanted to be. Taking the LSAT was such a stressor to me that I decided to not retake, and if I didn’t get in anywhere I wanted to go I would have taken a gap year, retaken the LSAT, and re-applied.
My best advice is to form lasting relationships with professors while you are still in undergrad, because having glowing letters of recommendation may get you farther than you think.
Good luck, future applicants.
