Ready for full dox- hopefully this helps someone in their law school journey!

Started working in a law firm in 2019 to see if law was really something I wanted to do, I was 27 at the time.

Took my first diagnostic around that time, had a panic attack and didn’t finish because I had no idea how to approach LG and even LR. Bought a few Manhattan Prep books (huge waste of time) but learned enough to fumble my way through a second diagnostic to get a 147. Felt hopeless… how would I ever get my goal of a 175 (LOL I was so naïve)?!

Found the Thinking LSAT podcast and the LSAT demon and completely changed everything. Practice tests were consistently 165-172 so felt super confident I’d get my new goal of 164.. ended up with a 158. Super bummed.

Applied last cycle around January with my 158 and got waitlisted or rejected everywhere. Got into a 100+ law school I panic applied to in April with a full ride then a few weeks later off the waitlist at Oregon with 25k/yr in scholarship. The full ride was so tempting but I was just not excited about the school. Again I felt defeated. I Really wanted to get as much money as possible to a school I was excited about. Was super pumped about Oregon, but not so pumped about the scholly. After I got over thinking I was a failure if I waited another year to start school I made the decision to R&R and apply super early with a more refined PS. This “come to Jesus” was a huge weight off my shoulders. I no longer looked at it as a failure but an opportunity. Unfortunately, my 5 LSATs were 158-159-160-160-159… such a hard blow, but I have great letters of rec and what I feel was a unique and compelling Personal Statement. Applied with my first 160 and signed up to take again after I applied to all my schools. Got better results but still not as good as I would have with the goal that I didn’t reach. Felt defeated AGAIN. Visited PS-Dickinson and now feel super excited about possibly going there. Got Into my 1st an 2nd place schools off the WL in June.

2-3 years, 5 LSATs and a lot of crying later I am now deciding between MY TOP SCHOOLS WITH REASONABLE SCHOLARSHIP and a great scholarship at a great school.
