LSAT: Give yourself more time than you think you need to study. If you can swing it, a tutor or course is a great investment into your future because just a few LSAT points can mean a huge difference in where you are accepted and/or scholarship amounts. (I used 7Sage and PowerScore.) If you think you left points on the table, take it again.

Apps: Spend a lot of time on all of your applications, including safeties. I included why X paragraphs in every one of my personal statements, and I think it helped me avoid YP at safeties (no comment on Mich or UVA LOL). If you genuinely can’t write a why X, you probably shouldn’t apply to that school IMO.

Mental health: Know when to log off LSD and reddit. Some info on here can be helpful, but it can also drive you crazy if you let it. Remember the strengths in your application and try not to compare yourself too much. Everyone is different, and you yourself have a lot to offer.

The decision: You are the one attending the school of your choice. Not your family, not your friends, not people on reddit. You must make the decision for you and what you want. Sometimes that means taking $$$ (or a better culture fit) over a higher ranked school. You do you.

This process is a marathon, not a sprint, but soon enough it will be over and you will start this next exciting chapter in your life. Good luck and I am rooting for you!
