Admitted to Boston UniversityApplying to law school is hard! you got this! I took the LSAT 3 times to get my score, don’t give up. Try not to obsessively check this site and Reddit, it’s not terribly helpful :)
I did some really cool stuff in undergrad and yes it is actually T2 I’m no slouch. Also, I was a STEM major (I know, nobody cares BUT I DO) This process hurts. Be prepared to wait.
Duke: wrote Why Duke - got in the day after going UR3 NDLS: Did not write a Why NDLS. Went UR5 before being accepted UT: No Why Texas GW: No Why GW BU: Wrote Why BU
–apply early, esp. if you’re a splitter. –get those fee waivers. –get your target LSAT and then plan your cycle, rather than plan your cycle and assume your LSAT will fall in line.
“Ah, but a man’s reach should exceed his grasp // Or what’s a heaven for?” Don’t kill the cringe parts of you, kill the part of you that cringes. The revolution will be litigated.
Get your best possible GPA and LSAT. Write about what makes you who you are, discuss your identity. Apply early. Apply to lots of T14s. Negotiate your aid, communicate your needs.
Yea sure, you screwed up your GPA. You can’t go back. But there’s one last key left, go study for that LSAT and prove you aren’t who you used to be, there’s still doors to unlock.

I left my parting advice on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/lawschooladmissions/comments/twizdy/doxxy_cycle_recap_and_random_advice_from_a_0l/ Best of luck to all of you!
Risk the impossible! I focused as much time on my PS/Resume/App Materials as I did the LSAT. A coherent narrative was key to the success of my application, you can do this!
Do your very best in undergrad. Once your GPA is finalized, that’s it. Also, take your time studying for the LSAT. Do not take the test until you are absolutely ready.
Apply to as many schools as you can. Seriously. Add more safety schools and use the fee waivers you received even if you’re not sure you’re interested in that school.
Wrote addendum on significant medical events and changes in medical care during my sophomore year that impacted my attendance and thus my grades during that time.
Take your time on your application and do all extra essays. You might be above medians, but the essays prove you are serious which can be rewarded with extra $$$$.
Wrote Why X essays for Duke, UVA, Michigan, Penn (core values), and Cornell. Submitted diversity/lived experience statements to all schools that had the option.

Try to have your application ready as early in the cycle as possible. It felt like by the time I got a lot of my decisions schools were already just about full.
