Call schools unless they tell you not to. Even if it’s just with a few general admissions question. I hadn’t gotten a decision from Notre Dame in 7 months and got one the day after calling
Dedicate yourself to the exam and apply early (don’t rush your written materials but work on them far ahead of time).
Non-trad student, applied very late bc I had to retake the LSAT in January. Duke UR3 4/15/21 In retrospect, should have waited a year and also written all the Why X essays…
If you get diagnosed with a life-changing medical condition during undergrad, take time off IMMEDIATELY instead letting a semester of poor health tank your otherwise stellar GPA.
I wrote every essay I could without being excessive (was offered to write 4, wrote 2-3) and tried not to reuse any content and write things specifically tailored for each school.
All I know is that I know nothing
Take an LSAT prep course. They can raise your LSAT by anywhere between 5 and 15 points. That is the difference between going to a school closer to 100 and a school closer to 15.

ASU opens dang early. They give aid based on need and merit, but UA only looks at merit.
Risk the impossible! I focused as much time on my PS/Resume/App Materials as I did the LSAT. A coherent narrative was key to the success of my application, you can do this!
LSAT 169 GPA 3.87 2020–21 cycle
Attending University of Southern California
I took a year off for R&R, so no real work experience but not kjd either. If you need more time to think about the ASU full scholarship, ask them for a month extension.
Do your very best in undergrad. Once your GPA is finalized, that’s it. Also, take your time studying for the LSAT. Do not take the test until you are absolutely ready.
Splitter who bombed their undergrad GPA. Computer Science Major might’ve helped me but if there’s one thing I’ve learned. It is that the LSAT was my saving grace (◕︵◕)
Three LSAT takes 159->163->171. Reapplicant from last cycle, when I applied with 3.86/163. Full 2021 cycle details: https://www.lsd.law/users/creep/AlcoholicCockroach
Moral of the story is shoot your shot. I am super KJD (graduated at 19) and I’m not sure if that had any affect on my decisions. I don’t think it did so ¯(ツ)/¯
Apply to as many schools as you can. Seriously. Add more safety schools and use the fee waivers you received even if you’re not sure you’re interested in that school.
