A low LSAT score is not necessarily a huge detriment to being admitted into law school. Your GPA and soft factors can go a long way, especially with a good personal statement!
Applicant wisdom
Advice applicants left on their LSD.Law profiles, searchable by topic, school, and stats.
You’ll never regret giving it your best! Also, apply early. Even if it works out, the stress of waiting until the very end to apply and receive decisions isn’t fun.
Everyone feels the same way you do. Don’t let anxiety stop you from doing whatever you want. You are not alone. And always remember haters gonna hate. Be you.
Get applications in earlier if you can (I didn’t, and it was my biggest regret through this process). And take a deep breath. You’ll get where you need to be.
Take your time, don’t rush the process. As hard and annoying as it is, see the process through. And yes, I’m on LSD and not attending a T-14. What about it?
Do not let your past define who you are today! If you do not succeed at first, as the saying goes - try again!
Reach out if you have any questions!
Wrote personal statement on being first in my family to go to law school, wrote GPA addendum for first semester GPA weighing down average
Take the test five times, get the best score you’re capable of, and apply broadly. Don’t limit yourself to a “local” school.
Don’t apply until you’re 110% ready. Applying earlier with a lower LSAT will not help your chances.
apply!!! don’t be scared to do so, take your chances even if they may be small. 10/10 responses = 6 A’s, 2 WL, 3 R’s.
This process is a marathon, not a sprint. Apply to a few schools you know will give you a full scholarship or close.
Couldn’t blanket the T14s but hopefully my essays, work exp, and GPA speak for themselves.
Always make sure to try your best whenever possible, but if you don’t, make up for it via standardized testing.
Have faith in yourself, trust the process, and GO BIRDS!!! https://youtu.be/gr96UmvwJKo?si=mefIJge2ZtAGjWvZ
Filled out all application materials/essays. Took about three months to write my personal statement myself.
Don’t ever think you can’t
I actually took the GRE! Verbal 165/ Q161/ AWA 5. On the calculator, it took my GRE score as a 169 LSAT
