Before the first year, law students go through a robust orientation program that assesses each student’s capacity for technical reading, comprehension, and critical thinking and introduces the skills and behaviors necessary for the study of law.

During their first year, students are assigned a first-year coach and they engage classmates in a cohort approach to learning. The curriculum, personalized instruction, and assessment continue during second-and third-year education.
