LSAT notes: Take untimed sections until you nail your accuracy. Take as many practice tests and practice sections as you can and do dedicated blind review. Incorporate grounding and breathing exercises for test anxiety. I took the test once pre-Flex.

School notes: YLS: Y250 made an argument about professional/legal topic. Did the college and post-college activities as a list. No Why X. | SLS: Submitted school-specific letter of recommendation. Wrote two optional essays. No Why X. Applied for Knight-Hennessy (rejected first round). | HLS: No Why X. Did not have good answers to “Why Harvard?” at interview. | UChicago: No Why X. Interview was conversational and nice. | CLS: Included Why X in PS. | NYU: Included Why X in PS. Applied for programmatic scholarships (finalist for 2 (withdrew before interview), withdrew before hearing back from 2). | Michigan: Wrote two optional essays but not Why X. | Berkeley: Wrote Why X. 4 page PS. | UW: Wrote Why X. Home state. Applied for Gates, no interview.

Scholarship notes: Withdrew from Berkeley, UW, and NYU before hearing back about scholarships. Got need-based aid from YLS ($$+) but I don’t think that’s relevant except that it did affect my decision to commit rather than waiting for SLS/CLS/other scholarship information.
