Miscellaneous pieces of advice:
Only write a “Why X” if you have something real to say, not just listing off the clinics and journals at the school that interest you. Connect those opportunities back to yourself and your goals in a unique way.
Diversity is not just limited to your skin color or sexuality - don’t fall into the trap of thinking you have nothing to say in a diversity statement if you’re not a URM.
Don’t waste your time with Boston University - the slow decision is one thing, but the utter lack of communication or respect for students waiting for that decision is the cherry on top.
